Last Saturday the Chargers avenged a Week 12 loss to the Colts by sending Indianapolis packing in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.
Next Sunday, they’ll get a chance to vindicate a Week 11 defeat in Pittsburgh. With Baltimore’s win in Miami Sunday afternoon, the six-seeded Ravens earned a trip to Nashville to face the Titans, the top seed in the AFC. That leaves the Bolts, the AFC’s fourth seed, headed to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:45 Pacific next Sunday at Heinz Field.
“It’s just like playing Indianapolis again,” Chargers Head Coach Norv Turner said Sunday. “We’re familiar with them, they’re familiar with us. But the fact that we’ve played in the stadium, we’ve been in the weather, we’ve handled it once in terms of knowing we can compete and play in that environment, that will help us.”
